CV AND RECORDS

Born on June 12, 1972, father of 3 children, PE teacher from 1994 to 2025, athletics coach from 1989 to 2001, and sports event organizer from 2004 to 2025 (Raid des Dentelles).

After fifteen years of athletics (sprinting, 110m hurdles, 400m hurdles, race walking), I turned away from the stadiums at the age of 30 to explore outdoor sports. I began adventure racing, a discipline that involves teams (between 2 and 4 teammates) performing various activities: orienteering, mountain biking, kayaking, rope activities, canyoning, caving, etc.

In 2009, after a few years on the national circuit and day events, I started non-stop adventure raids over several days on the World Cup circuit. With my team, of which I am the captain, we have won numerous World Cup stages (8) and won the 2024 World Championships in Ecuador.

Alongside the raid, I started a more solitary discipline but still in the heart of nature: ultratrail, whose races vary between 200 and 700 kilometers. In recent years, I have notably won the Tor des Glaciers three times, 450 kilometers with a record of 114 hours. I am also the first finisher of the Chartreuse Terminorum (French Barkley). During my first participation in 2024 in the legendary Barkley, I finished 4 laps, narrowly missing out on the last lap.

For several years now, I have particularly enjoyed challenging myself with long solo crossings, seeking out records on legendary routes. In this regard, I hold the record for crossing the Alps unassisted in 150 hours and the GR20 autonomously in 41 hours and 53 minutes.

In 2026, I kicked off the year with a bang by becoming the first person to conquer both of the major winter races in the English-speaking world: the Spine Race 430k in England and the Barkley in the U.S.
